With a little luck, Ballydonegan's Berkeley Delaney got control of the ball when Joshua Jameson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ballydonegan's Suibhne McVictor got a free kick in the 24th minute. Lee McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Ballydonegan's goal looked a bit too open when Donegan Harkin came free, but Berkeley Delaney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Ballydonegan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suibhne McVictor to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bardan Morrison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lee McBrand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Joshua Jameson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkeley Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TheLostChildrensOfBabylon's Gaynor McGlenn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save TheLostChildrensOfBabylon from getting a goal against them. In the 65th match minute, Ballydonegan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suibhne McVictor to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th match minute, TheLostChildrensOfBabylon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barde McPeter to maneuver through the defense. Lee McBrand scored 2-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaynor McGlenn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lee McBrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaynor McGlenn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lee McBrand ran back to his position shaking his head. Scott Cronin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TheLostChildrensOfBabylon had played much better football throughout.
