The referee ignored Lynnbury's protests and gave Nollaig Barrett a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Lynnbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nollaig Barrett to maneuver through the defense. Donn Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Boyd Benson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lynnbury's Teris Rogers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teris Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quirk Duggan in the 20th minute of the match. Lynnbury's Teris Rogers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyd Benson in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Toran Branson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lynnbury's Teris Rogers. Teris Rogers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teris Rogers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toran Branson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Caherlea FC's Boyd Benson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teris Rogers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Teris Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Cooney in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Lynnbury's goal looked a bit too open when Toran Branson came free, but Teris Rogers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lou McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braoin Beckett in the 41st minute of the match. Lynnbury's Teris Rogers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toran Branson in the 56th minute of play. Teris Rogers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quirk Duggan went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Donn Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Toran Branson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teris Rogers. That made the score 0-6 in the 66 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lynnbury's Sheridan Todd got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Braoin Beckett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lou McJohnny. Caherlea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braoin Beckett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. In the 77th minute Braoin Beckett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dawayne Silke fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lynnbury's protests and gave Dawayne Silke a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lynnbury getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dawayne Silke hit a great ball. Lou McJohnny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartel Prunty went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Caherlea FC's Jack Cooney got a free kick in the 85th minute. Lou McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartel Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Toran Branson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Lou McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braoin Beckett in the 90th minute of play. Toran Branson struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Teris Rogers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caherlea FC. The Caherlea FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
