Donncha Dalton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rorke Crowe came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the RAKOWIAK SALLINS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rorke Crowe couldn't finish the play. Berkeley Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donncha Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lee McBrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Bobrzhitskiy having to interfere. The supporters of Ballydonegan booed when RAKOWIAK SALLINS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donncha Dalton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, RAKOWIAK SALLINS's goal looked a bit too open when Lee McBrand came free, but Artem Bobrzhitskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Begg Gollogley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RAKOWIAK SALLINS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Begg Gollogley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ballydonegan's Lee McBrand got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berkeley Delaney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Begg Gollogley, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Ballydonegan booed when RAKOWIAK SALLINS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donncha Dalton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ballydonegan defense, Rorke Crowe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berkeley Delaney. The Ballydonegan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berkeley Delaney should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Lee McBrand made the kick off in the second half. Artem Bobrzhitskiy made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Lee McBrand sent off a good shot on target. Begg Gollogley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Teagan Ryan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ballydonegan's Briony Deery got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind RAKOWIAK SALLINS's goalkeeper Artem Bobrzhitskiy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Begg Gollogley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Berkeley Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RAKOWIAK SALLINS's Donncha Dalton got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Rorke Crowe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Berkeley Delaney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teagan Ryan during the 89th minute.
