Joker the Hunter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St. James Gate F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Joker the Hunter getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Joseph Mulvihill hit a great ball. Baodan Doherty charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baodan Doherty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 9 minutes into the game, one of Joker the Hunter:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tormaigh MaCollin had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Pearse McWilliam's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Pearse McWilliam did a trick in the 11th minute in front of Joker the Hunter's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-0. An impressive performance by St. James Gate F.C.'s Pearse McWilliam! After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Joker the Hunter! Tormaigh MaCollin was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Burke Martyn capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Burke Martyn really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 21st play minute Pearse McWilliam came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tormaigh MaCollin. 3-0. If Pearse McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute, St. James Gate F.C.'s Pearse McWilliam dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 28th minute, Pearse McWilliam fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Tormaigh MaCollin. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and St. James Gate F.C.'s manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Pearse McWilliam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tormaigh MaCollin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Joker the Hunter's Zafer Mennan got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barhart Costello in the 34th minute of play forced Joker the Hunter's goalkeeper Tormaigh MaCollin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Pearse McWilliam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tormaigh MaCollin. Joker the Hunter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pearse McWilliam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 38 minutes of play, St. James Gate F.C.'s Pearse McWilliam made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tormaigh MaCollin was left in no man's land by his defense there! St. James Gate F.C.'s Bannon Glen Crowe was substituted for Pearse McWilliam. With his leg Tormaigh MaCollin managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when St. James Gate F.C.'s Bannon Glen Crowe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tormaigh MaCollin made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Bannon Glen Crowe sent off a good shot on target. Barhart Costello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bannon Glen Crowe in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tormaigh MaCollin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bannon Glen Crowe in the 54th minute of play forced Joker the Hunter's goalkeeper Tormaigh MaCollin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7-0 became the score in the 55th minute when Barhart Costello elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tormaigh MaCollin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barhart Costello, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. St. James Gate F.C.'s Bray Moran was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tormaigh MaCollin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tormaigh MaCollin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bannon Glen Crowe's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. If Barhart Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Joker the Hunter's goal looked a bit too open when Barhart Costello came free, but Tormaigh MaCollin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barhart Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tormaigh MaCollin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barhart Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tormaigh MaCollin having to interfere. Tormaigh MaCollin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bannon Glen Crowe in the 72nd minute of the match. 8-0 became the score in the 74th minute when Barhart Costello elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 77th minute Bannon Glen Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tormaigh MaCollin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, St. James Gate F.C.'s Bannon Glen Crowe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tormaigh MaCollin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gealan Cooney in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tormaigh MaCollin saved Joker the Hunter from getting behind. St. James Gate F.C. made a substitution. Biddy Delaney replaced Barhart Costello. 90 minutes into the match, Biddy Delaney notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Joker the Hunter's Tormaigh MaCollin. Tormaigh MaCollin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bannon Glen Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tormaigh MaCollin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
