Gaynor McGlenn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brennen Moran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bevin Molloy might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaynor McGlenn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Dennis McBrand came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ballyboughal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis McBrand couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bevin Molloy in the 77th minute of play forced TheLostChildrensOfBabylon's goalkeeper Gaynor McGlenn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ballyboughal booed when TheLostChildrensOfBabylon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendann John didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salmon McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salmon McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ballyboughal's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
