Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Quirk Duggan got free with Beartlai Caffey in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donncha McBrand scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lou McJohnny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lou McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buach Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes of play, Killosseny AFC's Donncha McBrand made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lou McJohnny was left in no man's land by his defense there! Beartlai Caffey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyd Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Caherlea FC got a freekick which was hit by Rowley Mulvihill. 15 minutes into the match, Killosseny AFC's Donncha McBrand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lou McJohnny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Donncha McBrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lou McJohnny came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Killosseny AFC's Breadan Crowe. But to his dismay, Breadan Crowe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 23 minutes into the game, Donncha McBrand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Lou McJohnny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Killosseny AFC's Beartlai Caffey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Killosseny AFC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Caherlea FC's zone, Berrigan Gillmour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lou McJohnny came out of the goal and Berrigan Gillmour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ros McBrandon kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Lou McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breadan Crowe, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute Breadan Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lou McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buach Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, Killosseny AFC's Ros McBrandon got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Buach Doherty dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lou McJohnny, 0-7. With a little luck, Caherlea FC's Lou McJohnny got control of the ball when Breadan Crowe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beartlai Caffey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyd Benson in the 81st minute of the match. Breadan Crowe scored 0-10 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lou McJohnny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brendan Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lou McJohnny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caherlea FC's Lou McJohnny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Caherlea FC from getting a goal against them. Killosseny AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
