Milan Fighters's Bar Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barhart Costello in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Tipper Savic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bar Dempsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bar Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hewney Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bar Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barhart Costello in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Burke Martyn notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Milan Fighters's Bar Dempsey. Bar Dempsey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Pearse McWilliam managed to get in a good position for a shot. St. James Gate F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pearse McWilliam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bar Dempsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bar Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tipper Savic in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Milan Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Hewney Kirby came free, but Bar Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Milan Fighters's Espen Fjederholt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brigid Rutherford. Brigid Rutherford yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Boroimhe McSteven succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Egan McLaughlin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 32 minutes St. James Gate F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Espen Fjederholt who took care of the corner kick. Bar Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burke Martyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Milan Fighters's Bar Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barhart Costello in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Milan Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lavritz Ruge to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Milan Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Barhart Costello came free, but Bar Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bar Dempsey came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by St. James Gate F.C.'s Pearse McWilliam. But to his dismay, Pearse McWilliam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. St. James Gate F.C.'s Bannon Glen Crowe was substituted for Pearse McWilliam. Bar Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hewney Kirby in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bannon Glen Crowe in the 43rd minute of play forced Milan Fighters's goalkeeper Bar Dempsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bar Dempsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hewney Kirby in the 45th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Bannon Glen Crowe made a precise shot to the right of Bar Dempsey. Milan Fighters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gearroid McJon to make the kick off. The supporters of St. James Gate F.C. booed when Milan Fighters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prokopis Kounenakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Bannon Glen Crowe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bar Dempsey. Bannon Glen Crowe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. 63 minutes into the game, St. James Gate F.C.'s Hewney Kirby nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bar Dempsey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. Milan Fighters's Bar Dempsey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Milan Fighters from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barhart Costello in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bar Dempsey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 minutes, Barhart Costello made it 2-7 with a short kick to the right side. Milan Fighters's Bar Dempsey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bannon Glen Crowe in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bar Dempsey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 74 in the game by Bannon Glen Crowe from a close distance when the talented Bar Dempsey managed to make a qualified save. Milan Fighters's players were relieved. Prokopis Kounenakis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Barhart Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. St. James Gate F.C. were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Milan Fighters's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tipper Savic took the corner. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Bar Dempsey successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bar Dempsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hewney Kirby in the 85th minute of play. St. James Gate F.C. made a substitution. Biddy Delaney replaced Barhart Costello. With a little luck, Milan Fighters's Bar Dempsey got control of the ball when Bannon Glen Crowe tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
