Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barde Callaghan during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Ballydonegan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barde Callaghan to maneuver through the defense. Bartel Prunty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berkeley Delaney was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Braoin Beckett capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Braoin Beckett really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Belock Rutherford's late challenge caught a Lynnbury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belock Rutherford helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Belock Rutherford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Booak Martyn hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Braoin Beckett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berkeley Delaney was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Ballydonegan's goal looked a bit too open when Artuir McFrank came free, but Berkeley Delaney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braoin Beckett in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berkeley Delaney saved Ballydonegan from getting behind. Teris Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee McBrand in the 23rd minute of the match. Ballydonegan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Artuir McFrank scored to the left of an out of position Berkeley Delaney, making the score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartel Prunty got free with Berkeley Delaney in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teris Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee McBrand in the 32nd minute of play. After 39 played minutes Ballydonegan got a freekick which was hit by Brady Prunty. In the 40th minute of the match Artuir McFrank shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berkeley Delaney showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lee McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartel Prunty made a kick off. After some careless play in the Ballydonegan defense, Bartel Prunty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berkeley Delaney. The Ballydonegan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berkeley Delaney should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ballydonegan getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Brady Prunty hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Lynnbury's Artuir McFrank broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Teagan Ryan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Teris Rogers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Bartel Prunty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkeley Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braoin Beckett scored 6-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berkeley Delaney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Braoin Beckett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berkeley Delaney was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Petran Keegan charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petran Keegan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Suibhne McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Teris Rogers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Braoin Beckett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkeley Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Lynnbury were the better team. Lynnbury's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
