Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baodan Doherty started the match with the kick off. Beartlai Caffey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinny McPhil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Killosseny AFC's Turlough Kelly seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Turlough Kelly the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Killosseny AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Turlough Kelly had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Turlough Kelly hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Baodan Doherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beartlai Caffey having to interfere. Breadan Crowe struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Aaron Holt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killosseny AFC. After 18 played minutes Joker the Hunter got a freekick which was hit by Tormaigh MaCollin. Breadan Crowe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Holt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faruk Nafiz Ökmener in the 22nd minute of play forced Killosseny AFC's goalkeeper Beartlai Caffey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Holt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brendan Murphy in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Faruk Nafiz Ökmener ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beartlai Caffey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Donncha McBrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Joker the Hunter's zone, Sean McLaughlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Holt came out of the goal and Sean McLaughlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Killosseny AFC's Beartlai Caffey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irving Hamilton in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Killosseny AFC's Breadan Crowe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Holt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Killosseny AFC defense, Faruk Nafiz Ökmener kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beartlai Caffey. The Killosseny AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beartlai Caffey should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breadan Crowe to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Buach Doherty had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Holt. Joker the Hunter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Buach Doherty was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After having played for 57 minutes, Breadan Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killosseny AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breadan Crowe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Joker the Hunter's Irving Hamilton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Beartlai Caffey. Beartlai Caffey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Rory McLiam hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Breadan Crowe came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Killosseny AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breadan Crowe couldn't finish the play. Sean McLaughlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Holt having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breadan Crowe in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Holt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Buach Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Killosseny AFC booed when Joker the Hunter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baran Caffey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Holt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breadan Crowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Breadan Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Breadan Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killosseny AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breadan Crowe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barran Duggan missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 97 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Aaron Holt right hand side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
