Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Breslin Gough took the kick off in the first half of the match. Breslin Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 played minutes Coolnacon FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiomoid Holt. With a little luck, Coolnacon FC's Keefe Martyn got control of the ball when Bartel McFrancise tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beamard Martyns short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Keefe Martyn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Keefe Martyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conor Crowe in the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Coolnacon FC defense, Beamard Martyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keefe Martyn. The Coolnacon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keefe Martyn should have stopped the shot. Keefe Martyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breasal Coyle in the 25th minute. After 29 minutes, Beamard Martyn made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Coolnacon FC's Keefe Martyn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 33 minutes, Tiomoid Holt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coolnacon FC and the Cogran AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Coolnacon FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiomoid Holt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beamard Martyn in the 38th minute of play forced Coolnacon FC's goalkeeper Keefe Martyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Cogran AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Breslin Gough came free, but Blathmac Bayes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Cogran AFC got a freekick which was hit by Coran Taylor. Blathmac Bayes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breslin Gough in the 43rd minute of play. When Pearce McBrand came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cogran AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pearce McBrand couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, Coolnacon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Byrne to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Coolnacon FC's zone, Beamard Martyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keefe Martyn came out of the goal and Beamard Martyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beamard Martyn was the one to do the kick off. Blathmac Bayes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breslin Gough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keefe Martyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beamard Martyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Beamard Martyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Keefe Martyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beamard Martyn in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keefe Martyn saved Coolnacon FC from getting behind. Keefe Martyn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beamard Martyn's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coolnacon FC's goalkeeper Keefe Martyn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Beamard Martyn came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Cogran AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beamard Martyn couldn't finish the play. Cogran AFC's Blathmac Bayes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Cogran AFC from getting a goal against them. Cogran AFC's Conor Crowe got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beamard Martyn in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keefe Martyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 92 minutes, Bartel McFrancise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cogran AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartel McFrancise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Coolnacon FC's Bannan Branson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cogran AFC fully deserved thier win.
