Killoran's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cogran AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Killoran's Bras Cronin got a free kick in the 7th minute. Brendan Caffrey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beamard Martyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Blathmac Bayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyne Harkin in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Cogran AFC booed when Killoran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bras Cronin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Beamard Martyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brendan Caffrey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 31 played minutes Killoran got a freekick which was hit by Bras Cronin. In the 34th minute, Conor Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brendan Caffrey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conor Crowe went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. During the 44th minute of the match Bras Cronin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bras Cronin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ainnle McPaul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brendan Caffrey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beamard Martyn in the 51st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beamard Martyn got free with Brendan Caffrey in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bartel McFrancise could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Brendan Caffrey made a huge save. Fionn Robinson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Killoran:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cogran AFC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Brendan Caffrey, was totally fooled by Cogran AFC's Beamard Martyn, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Killoran getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Brant Robinson hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Beamard Martyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Cogran AFC booed when Killoran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyne Harkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Killoran players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
