Spectators: 9231 (Terracing: 6925, Seating: 2123, VIP seats: 183) Cullan Dimson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Cullan Dimson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bardan McMichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Dhún na nGall™'s goal looked a bit too open when Barney Doyle came free, but Donahue Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bardan McMichel was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Cullan Dimson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cullan Dimson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Catstown! The goalkeeper, Bardan McMichel, was totally fooled by Dhún na nGall™'s Cullan Dimson, who 13 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 19 minutes into the match, Irwin Keegan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bardan McMichel. Catstown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irwin Keegan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A collision led to Catstown getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Shannon Palmer hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Catstown defense, Irwin Keegan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bardan McMichel. The Catstown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bardan McMichel should have stopped the shot. Terrence Hunt hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Irwin Keegan got free with Bardan McMichel in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donahue Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry McBrand in the 31st minute of play. Bardan McMichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cullan Dimson in the 35th minute of the match. Bardan McMichel came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Dhún na nGall™'s Cullan Dimson. But to his dismay, Cullan Dimson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pat Walker in the 41st minute of play forced Catstown's goalkeeper Bardan McMichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barney Doyle hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry McBrand stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Catstown got a freekick which was hit by Henry McBrand. In the 57th minute Cullan Dimson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bardan McMichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes of play, Dhún na nGall™'s Cullan Dimson made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bardan McMichel was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cullan Dimson in the 63rd minute of play forced Catstown's goalkeeper Bardan McMichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cullan Dimson in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bardan McMichel saved Catstown from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Dhún na nGall™'s Cullan Dimson got a free kick in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fionntán McPhilip got free with Donahue Barrett in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Dhún na nGall™'s Ailill Ryan got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Cullan Dimson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bardan McMichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ailill Ryan in the 83rd minute of play forced Catstown's goalkeeper Bardan McMichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Cullan Dimson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bardan McMichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Fionntán McPhilip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Donahue Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donahue Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fionntán McPhilip in the 94th minute. Fionntán McPhilip charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fionntán McPhilip the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Catstown's Fionntán McPhilip got a free kick in the 96th minute.
