Killoran were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Coolnacon FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rowley McJames took the corner. Oliver Byrne thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Keefe Martyn, a very annoying self made goal in the 16th minute which led to 0-1. Brendan Caffrey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bannan Branson in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Rowley McJames was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Killoran's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coolnacon FC the free kick. Rowley McJames hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Brendan Caffrey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breslin Gough in the 28th minute of the match. Blian Caffey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Brendan Caffrey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Boyne Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keefe Martyn having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boyne Harkin in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keefe Martyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 minutes of play, Killoran's Ainnle McPaul made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keefe Martyn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barram McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keefe Martyn having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Boyne Harkin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coolnacon FC's Keefe Martyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute Boyne Harkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keefe Martyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keefe Martyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyne Harkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Breanne McDonald took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Brendan Caffrey to make any attempt to save it.

The supporters of Coolnacon FC booed when Killoran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berke McCready didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brendan Caffrey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breanne McDonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Boyne Harkin struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Keefe Martyn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killoran. Brendan Caffrey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blian Caffey in the 77th minute of play. Bannan Branson charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bannan Branson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Boyne Harkin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Keefe Martyn firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 93 played minutes Killoran got a freekick which was hit by Brant Robinson. Bannan Branson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Brendan Caffrey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Coolnacon FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Oliver Byrne hit a great ball.
