Bannan Branson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacey John having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Treno Johnson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Game Over's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coolnacon FC the free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Coolnacon FC's Bannan Branson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacey John made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 34th minute, Breslin Gough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coolnacon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a little luck, Coolnacon FC's Keefe Martyn got control of the ball when Blayne Todd tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Game Over was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Prunty to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blayne Todd to make the kick off. The supporters of Game Over booed when Coolnacon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiomoid Holt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Coolnacon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blayne Todd came free, but Keefe Martyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Game Over's zone, Breslin Gough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacey John came out of the goal and Breslin Gough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beamard Coyle scored 2-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keefe Martyn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Keefe Martyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beamard Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77thth minute of the game Blayne Todd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coolnacon FC's Keefe Martyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beamard Coyle in the 79th minute of play forced Coolnacon FC's goalkeeper Keefe Martyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Game Over's Cacey John proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Game Over from getting a goal against them. Blian Caffey struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Cacey John didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coolnacon FC. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Coolnacon FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Game Over:s goal. In the 96th minute, Baird McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
