Spectators: 9190 (Terracing: 6894, Seating: 2113, VIP seats: 183) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Barney Doyle got the match started through his kick off. 19 minutes into the match, N1ghtzoners's goal looked a bit too open when Fionntán McPhilip came free, but Beary Deery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Fionntán McPhilip ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beary Deery was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bradigan Delaney hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barney Doyle in the 28th minute of play forced N1ghtzoners's goalkeeper Beary Deery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beary Deery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fionntán McPhilip in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Barney Doyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beary Deery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gearóid Caffey in the 33rd minute of play forced Catstown's goalkeeper Bardan McMichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fionntán McPhilip took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beary Deery. Beary Deery dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Henry McBrand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catstown's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry McBrand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beary Deery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Barney Doyle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beary Deery was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blair Hughes to make the kick off. Catstown's Bardan McMichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Deery in the 53rd minute of play. Beary Deery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Briain Morrison in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Roland Deery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bardan McMichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Beary Deery successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of N1ghtzoners booed when Catstown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fionntán McPhilip didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Fionntán McPhilip recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Beary Deery. Fionntán McPhilip showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 75th minute Blair Hughes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bardan McMichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Catstown getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bren Duggan hit a great ball. N1ghtzoners's Beary Deery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Briain Morrison in the 80th minute of play. Bardan McMichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Hughes in the 89th minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Petran Doherty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the N1ghtzoners and the Catstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Deery in the 94th minute of play forced Catstown's goalkeeper Bardan McMichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bardan McMichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breasal John, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bardan McMichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Deery, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Catstown left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than N1ghtzoners.
