The audience thought a goal was coming when Patty Hutton got free with Harold McGlenn in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patty Hutton in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harold McGlenn saved FC Piemonte from getting behind. Harold McGlenn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Benson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Blair Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Harold McGlenn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Toshko Toshkov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 64th minute Timothy Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold McGlenn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harold McGlenn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toshko Toshkov in the 65th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Piemonte defense, Blair Benson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harold McGlenn. The FC Piemonte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harold McGlenn should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute Blair Benson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold McGlenn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Piemonte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Piemonte's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baodan Crowe was slow to take the kick. During this time Badia DevilZ's players had a chance to rest. If Timmons McWillie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Badia DevilZ had played much better football throughout.
