Adama Traore started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Badia DevilZ's Mario Pizzuto got control of the ball when Walery Pazura tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Badia DevilZ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Brefni Ferguson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Badia DevilZ's zone, Diego Lugano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Pizzuto came out of the goal and Diego Lugano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Pitta in the 9th minute of play forced Badia DevilZ's goalkeeper Mario Pizzuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toshko Toshkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Adama Traore made a precise shot to the right of Mario Pizzuto. Badia DevilZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sergio Rochet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolan McJames in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adama Traore in the 21st minute of play forced Badia DevilZ's goalkeeper Mario Pizzuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Pizzuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adama Traore, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Badia DevilZ's Toshko Toshkov got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Adama Traore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Pizzuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Toshko Toshkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Badia DevilZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Badia DevilZ booed when Uí Fergusa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Pazura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Pizzuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Du Xu Zheng in the 41st minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Toshko Toshkov's late challenge caught a Uí Fergusa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toshko Toshkov helped the player get up and apologised. Toshko Toshkov hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Banbhan Deery charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Banbhan Deery the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Seán Frankson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Pizzuto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Mario Pizzuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seán Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patty Hutton might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Rochet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patty Hutton ran back to his position shaking his head. If Timothy Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walery Pazura struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Mario Pizzuto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uí Fergusa. After 95 minutes, Dolan McJames mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Badia DevilZ and the Uí Fergusa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
