Lamestars's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Deery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Pizzuto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Pizzuto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Séamus Morrison went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mario Pizzuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davie Barrett in the 28th minute of the match. If Dolan McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blair Benson struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Severino Paião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Badia DevilZ. Mario Pizzuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Séamus Morrison in the 35th minute of the match. Brazil Rogers hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Baodan Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Blair Benson in the 44th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Severino Paião kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toshko Toshkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Lamestars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Henrico to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baodan Crowe in the 52nd minute of play forced Lamestars's goalkeeper Severino Paião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Paião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolan McJames, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Mario Pizzuto was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Davie Barrett capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Davie Barrett really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 60th minute, Brefni Ferguson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Badia DevilZ's Mario Pizzuto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Séamus Morrison in the 62nd minute of play. After 66 played minutes Lamestars got a freekick which was hit by Davie Barrett. If Dolan McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Badia DevilZ's Brefni Ferguson got a free kick in the 70th minute. Séamus Morrison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Badia DevilZ's Mario Pizzuto got control of the ball when Paul Deery tried to sneak it across the goal line. Badia DevilZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baodan Crowe in the 77th minute. Badia DevilZ's Baodan Crowe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Severino Paião in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 86th minute Séamus Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Pizzuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Lamestars's goal looked a bit too open when Dolan McJames came free, but Severino Paião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
