Dawayne McJohnny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Sergio Rochet made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adama Traore in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ter Stegen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to 1948 MKS getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Blanche Glen Crowe hit a great ball. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adama Traore in the 10th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Du Xu Zheng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ter Stegen was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Adama Traore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ter Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Uí Fergusa's Sergio Rochet got control of the ball when Dawayne McJohnny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Pazura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Xu Zheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adama Traore in the 32nd minute of play. If Geronimo Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Austin Deery hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adama Traore in the 39th minute of the match. Geronimo Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ter Stegen having to interfere. Sergio Rochet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaby Rogers in the 44th minute of play. If Walery Pazura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The 1948 MKS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uí Fergusa were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adama Traore to strike the kick off in the second half. Walery Pazura struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ter Stegen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uí Fergusa. Ter Stegen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Du Xu Zheng's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Uí Fergusa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diego Lugano in the 58th minute. The corner ended in Diego Lugano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen did a great save. Ter Stegen made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Geronimo Ciceron sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walery Pazura. Ter Stegen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Ciceron in the 67th minute. Ter Stegen stood somewhat misplaced when Adama Traore came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 68 minute. In the 72nd minute Walery Pazura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walery Pazura was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Geronimo Ciceron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Ter Stegen made a huge save. Adama Traore had several of the 1948 MKS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Ter Stegen as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walery Pazura got free with Ter Stegen in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Du Xu Zheng in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Uí Fergusa were awarded a corner. Diego Lugano went to the cornerflag to take it. Uí Fergusa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
