Spectators: 10788 (Terracing: 8092, Seating: 2481, VIP seats: 215) Bowen Coyle started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ettore Onori's late challenge caught a Rathclogh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Onori helped the player get up and apologised. Ettore Onori kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Bardain McNamara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boyce Quinnless took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Onori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachary Toney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Azteca in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Skaghard's goal looked a bit too open when Theobald Myler came free, but Zachary Toney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Skaghard's zone, Theobald Myler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachary Toney came out of the goal and Theobald Myler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 played minutes Skaghard got a freekick which was hit by Brennan Costello. In the 20th minute, Bardain McNamara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boyce Quinnless was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ettore Onori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyce Quinnless having to interfere. Rathclogh's Fernandinho Azteca got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zachary Toney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justin Byrne went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Zachary Toney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bowen Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Skaghard's goal looked a bit too open when Theobald Myler came free, but Zachary Toney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theobald Myler hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Brennan Costello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zachary Toney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bowen Coyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ettore Onori kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boyce Quinnless. That made the score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Skaghard's goal looked a bit too open when Bowen Coyle came free, but Zachary Toney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Bardain McNamara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Boyce Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Bardain McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyce Quinnless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugh McWilliam hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Bardain McNamara struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Boyce Quinnless didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skaghard. Ettore Onori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boyce Quinnless read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Ettore Onori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Boyce Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Theobald Myler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rathclogh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theobald Myler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Brennan Costello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skaghard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rathclogh the free kick. In the 74th minute, Brennan Costello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theobald Myler in the 77th minute of play forced Skaghard's goalkeeper Zachary Toney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Bowen Coyle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zachary Toney. Skaghard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bowen Coyle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 82nd minute, Bardain McNamara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Skaghard's Zachary Toney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Skaghard from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Bret McBrand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rathclogh's supporters rose to their feet, but Bret McBrand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachary Toney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Skaghard's goalkeeper Zachary Toney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bowen Coyle.
