Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lee Clist got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Weaverham's goalkeeper Garry Beckford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Lilley. Damon Hardcastle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Browning in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Romeo Delamore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th match minute, Stockton-on-Tees City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Clarke to maneuver through the defense. When Noel Carsley came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Weaverham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Carsley couldn't finish the play. Dan Lilley's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Garry Beckford skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Billy Browning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damon Hardcastle having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Billy Browning ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damon Hardcastle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Stockton-on-Tees City's Lee Clist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Garry Beckford. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. If Billy Browning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damon Hardcastle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Browning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Noel Carsley made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Weaverham's goalkeeper Garry Beckford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Stockton-on-Tees City's Dan Lilley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Garry Beckford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Noel Carsley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damon Hardcastle having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Lilley in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garry Beckford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Billy Browning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Delamore hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Damon Hardcastle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noel Carsley went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Garry Beckford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Lilley, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Weaverham's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
