The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Seth Morcom hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Upwell United's Tommy Forbes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Letheren in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, OZS GUZIKOWKA KROSNO's Adrian Dudgeon got a free kick in the 13th minute. OZS GUZIKOWKA KROSNO's Pierce Bettney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save OZS GUZIKOWKA KROSNO from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Zackary Wilmott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Pierce Bettney throw himself and got hold of the ball when Pat Spears in the 23rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Zackary Wilmott hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Pat Spears fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pierce Bettney, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Upwell United's zone, Sid Letheren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Forbes came out of the goal and Sid Letheren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Upwell United defense, Sid Letheren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Forbes. The Upwell United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Forbes should have stopped the shot. Aaron Portway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Forbes having to interfere. Andrew Bennett took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pierce Bettney. OZS GUZIKOWKA KROSNO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Aaron Portway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Forbes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Portway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, OZS GUZIKOWKA KROSNO's goal looked a bit too open when Pat Spears came free, but Pierce Bettney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Upwell United's Tommy Forbes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Upwell United from getting a goal against them. Tommy Forbes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sid Letheren went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pat Spears in the 64th minute of play forced OZS GUZIKOWKA KROSNO's goalkeeper Pierce Bettney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Upwell United got a freekick which was hit by Zackary Wilmott. Tommy Forbes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Letheren, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, OZS GUZIKOWKA KROSNO's Sid Letheren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Upwell United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Aaron Portway scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Forbes, making the score, 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Sid Letheren managed to get in a good position for a shot. OZS GUZIKOWKA KROSNO's supporters rose to their feet, but Sid Letheren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Forbes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martyn Forster during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martyn Forster hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Pierce Bettney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Leighton in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sid Letheren in the 93rd minute of play forced Upwell United's goalkeeper Tommy Forbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Upwell United's Pat Spears suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Upwell United booed when OZS GUZIKOWKA KROSNO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seth Morcom didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded OZS GUZIKOWKA KROSNO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Upwell United.
