Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Loyd Kyle kicked off to start the match. Theo Brodie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Mahon having to interfere. Malcolm Mahon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ollie Goodfellow in the 10th minute. After 12 played minutes LEYTON ORYENT got a freekick which was hit by Gaz Knowles. The HighFlyers FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when HighFlyers FC's Loyd Kyle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Theo Brodie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ollie Goodfellow's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Malcolm Mahon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ollie Goodfellow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ollie Goodfellow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Mahon having to interfere. A hard shot 34 in the game by Theo Brodie from a close distance when the talented Malcolm Mahon managed to make a qualified save. LEYTON ORYENT's players were relieved. In the 38thth minute of the game Loyd Kyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LEYTON ORYENT's Malcolm Mahon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to HighFlyers FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Barrie Littlechild hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Morgan was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barrie Littlechild in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malcolm Mahon saved LEYTON ORYENT from getting behind. In the 53rd minute Theo Brodie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Mahon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Danny Bowe could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which CJ Coe however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Theo Brodie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malcolm Mahon was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. HighFlyers FC's Barrie Littlechild got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danny Bowe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but CJ Coe made a huge save. When HighFlyers FC's Barrie Littlechild in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LEYTON ORYENT's goalie prevented a goal. If Ollie Goodfellow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Ollie Goodfellow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Theo Brodie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Mahon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Scrivener took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Malcolm Mahon. LEYTON ORYENT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 90th minute, Barrie Littlechild got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CJ Coe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Morgan in the 92nd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. HighFlyers FC had played much better football throughout.
