Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) HighFlyers FC's Loyd Kyle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Vic Prutton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Latchingdon getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jake Middlewood hit a great ball. If Barrie Littlechild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HighFlyers FC's CJ Coe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thom Green in the 10th minute of play. Ivor Dawes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barrie Littlechild, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Stevie Duff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loyd Kyle in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivor Dawes saved Latchingdon from getting behind. Loyd Kyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ollie Goodfellow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivor Dawes having to interfere. In the 26th minute, HighFlyers FC's Ollie Goodfellow dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Theo Brodie hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match Jake Middlewood shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but CJ Coe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ollie Goodfellow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Latchingdon's Ivor Dawes got control of the ball when Barrie Littlechild tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stevie Duff to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ollie Goodfellow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thom Green charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thom Green the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barrie Littlechild during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, HighFlyers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barrie Littlechild to maneuver through the defense. Vic Prutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theo Brodie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivor Dawes having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Vic Prutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Theo Brodie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ollie Goodfellow got free in front of the goal in the 68th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ivor Dawes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Rodd Carr fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HighFlyers FC's protests and gave Rodd Carr a yellow card for diving instead. Ollie Goodfellow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Latchingdon got a freekick which was hit by Stevie Duff. Ollie Goodfellow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivor Dawes having to interfere. Ivor Dawes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loyd Kyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ivor Dawes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Brodie in the 87th minute of play. Theo Brodie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stevie Duff fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Latchingdon's protests and gave Stevie Duff a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Latchingdon getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Stevie Duff hit a great ball. If Barrie Littlechild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ollie Goodfellow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ivor Dawes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. HighFlyers FC fully deserved thier win.
