The supporters of Withernsea booed when Windermere United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Wooding didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Daniel Stead shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Senior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Chamberlain in the 13th minute of play forced Withernsea's goalkeeper Benji Leach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
