Garth Corbridge succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. 15 minutes into the match, Chelsea AFC's Shane Auty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rowan Whitford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chelsea AFC's Shane Auty got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Slater blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rowan Whitford having to make a save. In the 24th minute, Garth Corbridge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rowan Whitford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Auty, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Garth Corbridge might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seb Hird. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garth Corbridge ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Wickersley's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Spacey came free, but Rowan Whitford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Shane Auty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wickersley's Rowan Whitford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Austen Granger scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rowan Whitford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Chelsea AFC's Shane Auty in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Shane Auty made the kick off in the second half. Garth Corbridge's late challenge caught a Chelsea AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garth Corbridge helped the player get up and apologised. Garth Corbridge kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Rowan Whitford made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Shane Auty sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 58 minutes, George Slater managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Slater was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shane Auty struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Rowan Whitford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea AFC. In the 64th minute George Slater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Whitford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shane Auty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes of play, Chelsea AFC's George Slater made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rowan Whitford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neil Potter made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chelsea AFC's Philip Basham. Chelsea AFC's Shane Auty got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garth Corbridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seb Hird having to interfere. Rowan Whitford made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when George Slater sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, George Slater had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rowan Whitford. Wickersley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Slater was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
