Stony Stratford Town FC's Don Brazier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Hirst in the 24th minute of play. Don Brazier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Hirst in the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Hirst in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Don Brazier saved Stony Stratford Town FC from getting behind. In the 30th minute of the match, Fred Hirst tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Don Brazier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fred Hirst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Cranbrook got a freekick which was hit by Nathanial Beard. Nial Froggatt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tosh Thompson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesley Howard hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Ronny Hulbert in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Cranbrook's Tosh Thompson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Hulbert in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes, Ashley Hamilton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cranbrook and the Stony Stratford Town FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fred Hirst scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Don Brazier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dale Rain's late challenge caught a Cranbrook's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dale Rain helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stony Stratford Town FC's Dale Rain got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Calvin Larham came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Cranbrook fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calvin Larham couldn't finish the play.
