Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 53 minutes Alsager AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zackary Miller who took care of the corner kick. Zackary Miller made a great header on Durham City's corner, it was just that Alsager AFC's Kenny Kyle managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Durham City's Liam Mallon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kenny Kyle. That made the score 2-3 after 92 minutes of play. Durham City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
