When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Curtis Wing made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, team fortnite's goal looked a bit too open when Curtis Wing came free, but Chip Hoult reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alfred Sparks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Shawn Shaw was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. team fortnite's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ulverston the free kick. Alfred Sparks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chip Hoult having to interfere. Ulverston were furious when Neil Hind was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ulverston walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
