Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frazer Lane took the kick off in the first half of the match. Michael Midson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Warden in the 3rd minute of the match. Ronnie Hitchen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frazer Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the game, one of Ironville:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Pinewood United a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jude Spencer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ironville's Ronnie Hitchen. 0-1. When Pinewood United's Frazer Lane in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ironville's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Pinewood United's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Warden came free, but Michael Midson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Alexander Conway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronnie Hitchen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frazer Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frazer Lane in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronnie Hitchen saved Ironville from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Lloyd Trotter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pinewood United's Frazer Lane in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ironville's goalie prevented a goal. Ironville's Ronnie Hitchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Drury in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Lloyd Trotter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinewood United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lloyd Trotter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dion Farrell charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dion Farrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pinewood United booed when Ironville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dion Farrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frazer Lane in the 37th minute of play forced Ironville's goalkeeper Ronnie Hitchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Midson was a little too slow when Rupert Warden got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-1. A collision led to Ironville getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Dion Farrell hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rupert Warden made a kick off. Ronnie Hitchen made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Frazer Lane sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, Hayden Stone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronnie Hitchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayden Stone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronnie Hitchen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lloyd Trotter in the 62nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Ironville's Ronnie Hitchen got control of the ball when Frazer Lane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ironville were furious when Dom Burbeary was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 66th minute, Jude Spencer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ironville's Ronnie Hitchen didn't even have to move. Ronnie Hitchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frazer Lane in the 68th minute of play. Ronnie Hitchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frazer Lane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ironville's Ronnie Hitchen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Ironville from getting a goal against them. Franz Barron hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Ryan Corbridge came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ironville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan Corbridge couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Pinewood United's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Conway came free, but Michael Midson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Hayden Stone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinewood United's supporters rose to their feet, but Hayden Stone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Hitchen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ironville's zone, Phil Speight stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronnie Hitchen came out of the goal and Phil Speight tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Frazer Lane came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Pinewood United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frazer Lane couldn't finish the play. After 94 played minutes Pinewood United got a freekick which was hit by Joel Drury. Ronnie Hitchen made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Leigh Talbot sent off a good shot on target. Despite being the better team, Pinewood United failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
