Sean Martin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Callum Norton in the 27th minute of the match. When Callum Norton came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Paybridge Celtic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Callum Norton couldn't finish the play. Niall Renner charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niall Renner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rueben Rashleigh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sean Martin having to make a save. Keiran Fairbank's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Austen Jobson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Redcar City's Sean Martin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Mitchell-King in the 41st minute of play. Austen Jobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benji Turk in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Dean Butters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austen Jobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Paybridge Celtic were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Callum Norton made a kick off. A collision led to Redcar City getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Benji Turk hit a great ball. After 54 played minutes Paybridge Celtic got a freekick which was hit by Marty Wells. Keiran Fairbank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Austen Jobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Redcar City's zone, Alexander Mitchell-King stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sean Martin came out of the goal and Alexander Mitchell-King tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sean Martin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Paybridge Celtic's Callum Norton shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. When Redcar City's Marlon Oliver in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Austen Jobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keiran Fairbank went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Alexander Mitchell-King in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sean Martin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alexander Mitchell-King received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sean Martin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Austen Jobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keiran Fairbank in the 93rd minute of the match. Rueben Rashleigh kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Paybridge Celtic could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Redcar City throughout the match.
