Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Redcar City's Marlon Oliver started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marlon Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Donnelly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Marlon Oliver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Upminster's Joel Allison was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Keiran Fairbank came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Redcar City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keiran Fairbank couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Marlon Oliver ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Allison was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Upminster's Joel Allison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keiran Fairbank in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes, Keiran Fairbank made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Upminster's Joel Allison tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27thth minute of the game Ryan Weir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redcar City's Sean Martin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Allison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keiran Fairbank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marlon Oliver in the 41st minute of play forced Upminster's goalkeeper Joel Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orson Deighton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryan Weir to make the kick off. A collision led to Redcar City getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Oliver Steel hit a great ball. Sean Martin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Weir in the 59th minute of the match. Orson Deighton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marlon Oliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Allison having to interfere. With a little luck, Upminster's Joel Allison got control of the ball when Keiran Fairbank tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sean Martin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Weir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Upminster's Joel Allison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Upminster from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Keiran Fairbank managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redcar City's supporters rose to their feet, but Keiran Fairbank was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Allison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Allison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marlon Oliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84thth minute of the game Marlon Oliver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Upminster's Joel Allison was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Upminster's goalkeeper Joel Allison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keiran Fairbank. Upminster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Weir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Redcar City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sly Kessler to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Tommy Easter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sean Martin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Redcar City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
