Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Ethan Dryden came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Whitefield United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ethan Dryden couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Whitefield United's Joshua Kellaway got control of the ball when Mike Kerr tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Marenghi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Mike Kerr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waltham's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Kerr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joshua Kellaway breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mike Kerr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Kellaway having to interfere. Ethan Dryden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conal Rigg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Mike Kerr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Joshua Kellaway made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ethan Dryden in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conal Rigg saved Waltham from getting behind. If Graham Stonehouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Graham Stonehouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Graham Stonehouse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conal Rigg having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Chivers to make the kick off. Mike Kerr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Ethan Dryden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loyd Lambourne kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graham Stonehouse in the 57th minute of play forced Waltham's goalkeeper Conal Rigg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ethan Dryden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Conal Rigg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mike Kerr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Waltham fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Conal Rigg, was totally fooled by Whitefield United's Ash Stansfield, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, Waltham's Conal Rigg got control of the ball when Ethan Dryden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Graham Stonehouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Alistair Rockett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mike Kerr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Kellaway having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Kerr in the 95th minute of play forced Whitefield United's goalkeeper Joshua Kellaway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, David Chivers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waltham's supporters rose to their feet, but David Chivers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joshua Kellaway breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Whitefield United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
