The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vic Jump during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francis Van Hove made a kick off. After some careless play in the Par City defense, Alan Deakin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Nancy. The Par City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Nancy should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the game, one of Moretonhampstead AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Par City's Marty Booker got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pete Eldridge. Pete Eldridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francis Van Hove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 73 minutes, Francis Van Hove managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Par City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francis Van Hove was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francis Van Hove fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Eldridge having to interfere. Sam Grayson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Eric Nancy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirk Fry in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Alan Deakin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moretonhampstead AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Par City the free kick. Alan Deakin kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes in the game Nathanial Collins did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sam Grayson. Par City succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Moretonhampstead AFC had controlled the match.
