Liversedge's William Duffy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Cummings in the 22nd minute of play. The Gosses were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Liversedge's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Phillip Slator took the corner. William Duffy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Folwill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brandon Hanley in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Duffy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luke Nelthorpe fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liversedge's protests and gave Luke Nelthorpe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Jasper Folwill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liversedge's William Duffy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brandon Hanley got free with William Duffy in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Brandon Hanley took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for William Duffy to make any attempt to save it. Neil Cummingss short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got William Duffy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Liversedge's William Duffy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Liversedge from getting a goal against them. William Duffy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickey Pryor in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute, The Gosses's Brandon Hanley ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind William Duffy. William Duffy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Gosses had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
