Aşır Sungurbay made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 4thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ethan Conway would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Dale Naylor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marty Roche went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Aşır Sungurbay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ethan Conway was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Malcolm Leighton hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnathon Sherwood in the 17th minute of play forced Highbury and Islington's goalkeeper Ethan Conway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Highbury and Islington's Ethan Conway proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Highbury and Islington from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the game, Malcolm Leighton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Highbury and Islington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viola FC the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Malcolm Leighton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aşır Sungurbay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Ethan Conway when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dale Naylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Purvis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Viola FC's Johnathon Sherwood got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 36 in the game by Aşır Sungurbay from a close distance when the talented Ethan Conway managed to make a qualified save. Highbury and Islington's players were relieved. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viola FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Dale Naylor went to the wrong direction when Joshua Pool was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Aşır Sungurbay made the kick off in the second half. When Viola FC's Johnathon Sherwood in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Highbury and Islington's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington's goal looked a bit too open when Aşır Sungurbay came free, but Ethan Conway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnathon Sherwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Johnathon Sherwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johnathon Sherwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ethan Conway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Highbury and Islington's Ethan Conway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aşır Sungurbay in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Highbury and Islington's zone, Aşır Sungurbay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ethan Conway came out of the goal and Aşır Sungurbay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathon Sherwood came free, but Ethan Conway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Viola FC's Aşır Sungurbay in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Highbury and Islington's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Johnathon Sherwood's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ethan Conway was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Viola FC's Johnathon Sherwood got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Highbury and Islington's Ethan Conway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnathon Sherwood in the 81st minute of play.
