Kliment Nistorovs short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Johnathon Childs to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Glossop United getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cristiano Ronquillo hit a great ball. Alfred Leighton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Bartrup in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Glossop United's Esbjörn Mattsson got a free kick in the 26th minute. Steven Gerard hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Al Garforth, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Andrew Bartrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnathon Childs had great luck who in the 36thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rupert Jennings from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Kings Cross's Ray Borrowdale got a free kick in the 37th minute. Johnathon Childs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kliment Nistorov went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Glossop United's Esbjörn Mattsson got a free kick in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Johnathon Childs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Jennings, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glossop United's Rupert Jennings suffered a sore thigh after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 53 minutes into the game, Nick Longley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kings Cross's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glossop United the free kick. Glossop United made a substitution. Quentin Christensen replaced Rupert Jennings. Andrew Bartrup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Leighton having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Kliment Nistorov notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Kings Cross's Johnathon Childs. Johnathon Childs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Kliment Nistorov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Quentin Christensen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glossop United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Christensen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnathon Childs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kliment Nistorov, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Glossop United's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Bartrup came free, but Alfred Leighton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kliment Nistorov in the 96th minute of play forced Kings Cross's goalkeeper Johnathon Childs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glossop United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
