Grant Robertson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Robert Bradley made a huge save. In the 9th minute, Reggie Watkinson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Halstead United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 14 minutes into the match, Halstead United's goalkeeper Robert Bradley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grant Robertson. In the 16th minute Great Missenden United were awarded a corner. Scott Ingham went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Scott Ingham got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robert Bradley quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 17 minutes into the game, Ian Kearney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ash Calder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Spike Burns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Bradley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spike Burns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28thth minute of the game Reggie Watkinson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Great Missenden United's Ash Calder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robert Bradley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Spike Burns showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 32 minute of play. Spike Burns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Robert Bradley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Spike Burns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Halstead United's Kasey Wagstaff got a free kick in the 47th minute. Great Missenden United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Scott Ingham in the 51st minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Spike Burns stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spike Burns in the 59th minute of play forced Halstead United's goalkeeper Robert Bradley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Spike Burns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Bradley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Bradley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spike Burns in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Halstead United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lance Hampshire to maneuver through the defense. In the 68thth minute of the game Spike Burns who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halstead United's Robert Bradley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robert Bradley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spike Burns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grant Robertson scored 4-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Bradley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reggie Watkinson's late challenge caught a Great Missenden United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reggie Watkinson helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Halstead United got a freekick which was hit by Reggie Watkinson. Robert Bradley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spike Burns in the 85th minute of play. Great Missenden United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
