Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Greg Pickering took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Great Missenden United's Daniel Lennon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Connor Broom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Spike Burns ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Connor Broom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Flitwick's Ted Appleton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ash Calder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 12 minutes into the match, Great Missenden United's Grant Robertson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Connor Broom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Great Missenden United booed when Flitwick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zane Daly didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Spike Burns got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th match minute, Flitwick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Jobling to maneuver through the defense. Flitwick's Connor Broom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spike Burns in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Flitwick defense, Spike Burns kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Connor Broom. The Flitwick fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Connor Broom should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Spike Burns left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Great Missenden United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Spike Burns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Connor Broom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Grant Robertson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Broom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Connor Broom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spike Burns in the 43rd minute of the match. When Grant Robertson came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Great Missenden United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grant Robertson couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Spike Burns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Connor Broom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Flitwick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt Moyle to maneuver through the defense. Connor Broom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Spike Burns's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greg Pickering in the 64th minute of play forced Great Missenden United's goalkeeper Ash Calder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Great Missenden United getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Matty Atkins hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spike Burns in the 67th minute of play forced Flitwick's goalkeeper Connor Broom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ron Poole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Connor Broom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Lennon's late challenge caught a Flitwick's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Lennon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Great Missenden United getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Daniel Lennon hit a great ball. Ted Appleton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ash Calder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grant Robertson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Den Butterworth kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Connor Broom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Spike Burns's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. When Grant Robertson came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Great Missenden United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grant Robertson couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Great Missenden United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Flitwick throughout the match.
