Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Fordham FC's zone, Justin Doona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giles Hazell came out of the goal and Justin Doona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominik Horseman walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 13th minute Seb Beaver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giles Hazell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Alastair Crawshaw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alastair Crawshaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Hickson having to interfere. Lance Walls received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Perry Hickson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Fordham FC's Perry Hickson threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lance Walls, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Seb Beaver came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Abingdon City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seb Beaver couldn't finish the play. Giles Hazell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justin Doona went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Abingdon City booed when Fordham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phil Birch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Gordon Haley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Perry Hickson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Perry Hickson made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Alastair Crawshaw sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 36 minutes, Justin Doona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abingdon City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justin Doona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Abingdon City fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Abingdon City's Justin Doona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lance Walls fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Hickson having to interfere. Wayne Bray kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Abingdon City defense, Lance Walls kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perry Hickson. The Abingdon City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perry Hickson should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lance Walls made a kick off. Lance Walls fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Hickson having to interfere. Perry Hickson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alastair Crawshaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Justin Doona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Fordham FC's Kasey Adams got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Seb Beaver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Fordham FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Phil Birch hit a great ball. When Abingdon City's Seb Beaver in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fordham FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Fordham FC's Phil Birch got a free kick in the 80th minute. Justin Doona spun around in front of the goal 81 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Fordham FC's goal. Jonathon Manson kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Abingdon City's Justin Doona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Zaq Laycock was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Justin Doona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Lance Walls got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abingdon City's goalkeeper Perry Hickson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alastair Crawshaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Perry Hickson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Fordham FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Abingdon City's performance. The match ended with a win for Abingdon City.
