Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brad Pearce in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giles Hazell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Fordham FC's zone, Brad Pearce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giles Hazell came out of the goal and Brad Pearce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Fordham FC's Giles Hazell got control of the ball when Guaberto Valery tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fordham FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Brad Pearce scored to the left of an out of position Giles Hazell, making the score, 1-0. If Guaberto Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tamir Tajid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Brad Pearce came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Tewkesbury FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brad Pearce couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd match minute, Fordham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Sheringham to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lance Walls's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but James Harris was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Giles Hazell made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Brad Pearce sent off a good shot on target. Guaberto Valery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute, Fordham FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guaberto Valery fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Giles Hazell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brad Pearce in the 40th minute of play. Guaberto Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Giles Hazell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brad Pearce to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Guaberto Valery who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fordham FC's Giles Hazell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Fordham FC defense, Guaberto Valery kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giles Hazell. The Fordham FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giles Hazell should have stopped the shot. Guaberto Valery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fordham FC's Giles Hazell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brad Pearce in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Valery in the 66th minute of play forced Fordham FC's goalkeeper Giles Hazell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brad Pearce scored 3-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giles Hazell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Guaberto Valery ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giles Hazell was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Syd Wildman walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 85 played minutes Fordham FC got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Beerman. Guaberto Valery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giles Hazell having to interfere. Giles Hazell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guaberto Valery went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 97th minute, Guaberto Valery ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giles Hazell was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. There was no doubt that Tewkesbury FC were the better team. Tewkesbury FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
