Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bill Watson made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Bishop Auckland's goalkeeper Johnnie Fletcher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Austen Coogan. In the 5th minute Jacob Meehan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Bibby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denny Booth hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Karl Bibby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Meehan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. East Tilbury City's Karl Bibby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dion Butterfield in the 24th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Denny Booth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the East Tilbury City and the Bishop Auckland players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to East Tilbury City getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Denny Booth hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Christopher Sandell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bishop Auckland's supporters rose to their feet, but Christopher Sandell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Bibby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl Bibby came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Bishop Auckland's Jacob Meehan. But to his dismay, Jacob Meehan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Bill Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dion Butterfield in the 36th minute of play forced East Tilbury City's goalkeeper Karl Bibby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Bibby came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Bishop Auckland's Jacob Meehan. But to his dismay, Jacob Meehan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 41stth minute of the game Jacob Meehan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Tilbury City's Karl Bibby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dion Butterfield in the 44th minute of play forced East Tilbury City's goalkeeper Karl Bibby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Bishop Auckland were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dion Butterfield to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bishop Auckland booed when East Tilbury City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Carey-Bertram didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennie Johnston in the 53rd minute of play forced East Tilbury City's goalkeeper Karl Bibby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry Morris received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl Bibby came out and tried to block the shot, but Barry Morris slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 54th minute. Denny Booth kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Christopher Sandell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Bibby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Bibby came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Bishop Auckland's Dale Bradley. But to his dismay, Dale Bradley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 70 minutes into the match, East Tilbury City's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Meehan came free, but Karl Bibby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Meehan took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl Bibby. Karl Bibby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Johnnie Fletcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Crosby in the 81st minute of the match. Karl Bibby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Meehan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dion Butterfields short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Karl Bibby to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 90 minutes into the game, Dion Butterfield cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Karl Bibby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. East Tilbury City's Karl Bibby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save East Tilbury City from getting a goal against them.
