The wind increased when Vic Norfolk made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Skegby getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Max Homes hit a great ball. Rory Higgins kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, DRIP FC's Julian Jenkinson got control of the ball when Tyler Oldham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vic Norfolk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DRIP FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tyler Oldham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. If Tyler Oldham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skegby's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
