Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Johnnie Sherman got the match started through his kick off. Julian Jenkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler Oldham, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Tyler Oldham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Jenkinson was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Julian Jenkinson came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Skegby's Vic Norfolk. But to his dismay, Vic Norfolk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute Vic Norfolk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Jenkinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rory Higgins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doug Lambley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnnie Sherman, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Doug Lambley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnnie Sherman in the 27th minute of the match. DRIP FC's Gerry Sunderland got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Skegby's Vic Norfolk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Vic Norfolk made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Skegby getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Max Homes hit a great ball. Rory Higgins kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, DRIP FC's Julian Jenkinson got control of the ball when Tyler Oldham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vic Norfolk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vic Norfolk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Jenkinson having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Tyler Oldham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Jenkinson. DRIP FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tyler Oldham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Julian Jenkinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vic Norfolk in the 81st minute of the match. Tyler Oldham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Jenkinson having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Vic Norfolk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tyler Oldham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skegby's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
