Steve Butterfield made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Mansell in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Tyler Oldham could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Steve Butterfield however easily saved by the left post. If Johnathon Salmon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, Street FCs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Curtis Eldridge to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Charlie Mansell from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Steve Butterfield's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tyler Oldham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Steve Butterfield made a huge save. Johnathon Salmon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute of the match, Tyler Oldham got a very nice opportunity to score, but Steve Butterfield was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Skegby's Doug Lambley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Downes in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Johnathon Salmon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doug Lambley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Street FCs's Johnathon Salmon in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vic Norfolk in the 34th minute of play forced Street FCs's goalkeeper Steve Butterfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Street FCs fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Street FCs's Johnathon Salmon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Skegby getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Max Homes hit a great ball. A hard shot 45 in the game by Tyler Oldham from a close distance when the talented Steve Butterfield managed to make a qualified save. Street FCs's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnathon Salmon in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doug Lambley saved Skegby from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vic Norfolk to strike the kick off in the second half. Street FCs's Steve Butterfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Horseman in the 55th minute of play. Pete Chipperfield scored 1-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doug Lambley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Steve Butterfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler Oldham, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Street FCs's Steve Butterfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Mansell in the 64th minute of play. Steve Butterfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Horseman, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Street FCs's Jordan Grigg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jordan Grigg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Street FCs protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jordan Grigg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Skegby. Zane Bow stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Steve Butterfield. 2-2. Steve Butterfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Horseman, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skegby's goalkeeper Doug Lambley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute Tyler Oldham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Butterfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Barnett's late challenge caught a Skegby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Barnett helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skegby booed when Street FCs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Barnett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steve Butterfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Mansell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Charlie Mansell notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Street FCs's Steve Butterfield. Steve Butterfield was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Steve Butterfield didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vic Norfolk went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Tyler Oldham notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Street FCs's Steve Butterfield. Steve Butterfield was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
