Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Fausto Vinci started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Victor Morrison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Hird in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes Westbourne City got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Vinci. Alexander Hird had several of the Westbourne City's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Victor Morrison as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alexander Hird recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Matt Booker made a precise shot to the right of Victor Morrison. Westbourne City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Alexander Hird succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 26th playminute. In the 32nd minute, Rex Haxby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Fausto Vinci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Ingram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Fausto Vinci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, one of Westbourne City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, Henley on Thames City's Malcolm Elwick got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Victor Morrison. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Matt Booker made the kick off in the second half. When Alexander Hird came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Henley on Thames City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Hird couldn't finish the play. Westbourne City's Victor Morrison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Hird in the 56th minute of play. Victor Morrison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Booker in the 57th minute of play. Alexander Hird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Victor Morrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stephen Washington hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Alexander Hird's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Morrison was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Westbourne City's zone, Alexander Hird stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Morrison came out of the goal and Alexander Hird tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matt Booker in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Morrison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Matt Booker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Henley on Thames City's supporters rose to their feet, but Matt Booker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Morrison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Hird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matt Booker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Morrison having to make a save. Liam Billington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Ingram having to interfere. Victor Morrison came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Henley on Thames City's Alexander Hird. But to his dismay, Alexander Hird quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Westbourne City's Victor Morrison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Hird in the 96th minute of play.
