Mankus Athletic F.C's Ziemowit Galus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matty Wills in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Will Gray in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Freeman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wally Boland hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The Mankus Athletic F.C fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Mankus Athletic F.C's Will Gray looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 22nd play minutes Will Gray shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Dave Freeman and just under the crossbar into goal. 28 minutes into the match, Micklefield's goal looked a bit too open when Zackary Wooding came free, but Dave Freeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Stewart Butcher put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mankus Athletic F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ziemowit Galus, was totally fooled by Micklefield's Jools Gardener, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 39 minutes into the game, Mankus Athletic F.C's Will Gray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Freeman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. When Will Gray, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 44 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dave Freeman was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matty Wills stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ziemowit Galus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gav Moxon, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ziemowit Galus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastien Child in the 55th minute of play. Ziemowit Galus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matty Wills, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, Mankus Athletic F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stew Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Will Gray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mankus Athletic F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Will Gray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Freeman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dave Freeman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Gray in the 64th minute of the match. Jools Gardener hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Micklefield's Dave Freeman got control of the ball when Stew Kennedy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dave Freeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Will Gray, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 70th minute, Mankus Athletic F.C's Will Gray dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Will Gray who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Dave Freeman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Matty Wills kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Dave Freeman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Gray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 79 minutes, Craig Wicks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mankus Athletic F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Craig Wicks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 played minutes Micklefield got a freekick which was hit by Sebastien Child. Dave Freeman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Will Gray's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Mankus Athletic F.C booed when Micklefield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Hilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Will Gray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Will Gray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Will Gray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mankus Athletic F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Will Gray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute Gav Moxon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Galus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Micklefield fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mankus Athletic F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
