Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Stamford Stalwarts defense, Kurt Parslow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthew Dunlop. The Stamford Stalwarts fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthew Dunlop should have stopped the shot. Stamford Stalwarts's Matthew Dunlop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Parslow in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Stamford Stalwarts's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Parslow came free, but Matthew Dunlop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthew Dunlop came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Plumpton Green's Kurt Parslow. But to his dismay, Kurt Parslow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 25th match minute, Plumpton Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Drury to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Parslow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Dunlop having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Kurt Parslow notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Stamford Stalwarts's Matthew Dunlop. Matthew Dunlop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Plumpton Green getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Howard Haseldine hit a great ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Kurt Parslow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stamford Stalwarts's Matthew Dunlop was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

A collision led to Plumpton Green getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Howard Haseldine hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes, Stamford Stalwarts's Tommy Frampton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlton Dlyan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stamford Stalwarts reached it. Nathan Tipton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Plumpton Green's Kurt Parslow in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stamford Stalwarts's goalie prevented a goal. Matthew Dunlop was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Sol Beckford capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sol Beckford really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Plumpton Green's Carlton Dlyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casey Locking in the 66th minute of play. Kurt Parslow in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Matthew Dunlop, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 71st minute, Peter Drury reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matthew Dunlop. The goal made the score 0-8. In the 75th minute, Peter Drury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Plumpton Green's Carlton Dlyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Frampton in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match Sammy Burkinshaw shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthew Dunlop showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sol Beckford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthew Dunlop made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Nathan Tipton sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Plumpton Green's Peter Drury ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matthew Dunlop. Matthew Dunlop yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. 86 minutes into the match, Stamford Stalwarts's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Drury came free, but Matthew Dunlop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlton Dlyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Connery in the 93rd minute of play. Plumpton Green's Nathan Tipton got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Stamford Stalwarts fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Plumpton Green were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
