Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Jools Woodhouse started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Keiran Avery was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jools Woodhouse showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Keiran Avery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jools Woodhouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shane Lane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shane Lane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jude Fisher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jasper Bowland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Fisher having to interfere. Orson Shields sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jools Woodhouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keiran Avery having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match Cliff Humphreys sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keiran Avery skillfully saved the ball. Orson Shields sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orson Shields fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keiran Avery having to interfere. Byron Dolby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Fisher having to interfere. Jude Fisher came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Skelmersdale's Jasper Bowland. But to his dismay, Jasper Bowland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Darren Durrant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Docklands's Jude Fisher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Bowland in the 55th minute of play. Jasper Bowland took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jude Fisher. Jude Fisher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Marc Holdroyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Fisher having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Orson Shields managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Docklands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orson Shields was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cliff Humphreys fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Docklands's protests and gave Cliff Humphreys a yellow card for diving instead. 67 minutes into the game, one of Docklands:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Skelmersdale. Richie Stevens stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jude Fisher. 1-3. When Byron Dolby fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skelmersdale's protests and gave Byron Dolby a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Skelmersdale's Byron Dolby got a free kick in the 71st minute. Orson Shields recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jasper Bowland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jude Fisher. That made the score 1-4 in the 90 minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Tommy Dransfield was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skelmersdale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Docklands the free kick. A collision led to Skelmersdale getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tommy Dransfield hit a great ball. The Skelmersdale players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
