Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Keith Cardwell started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, West Ham United's Robert Lonsdale got control of the ball when Phil Walton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute, Rhys Darnbrooke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nath Birchall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Albert Hales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Nath Birchall made a precise shot to the right of Albert Hales. Kensington FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Johnathan Eldridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Albert Hales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Hales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nath Birchall's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Johnathan Eldridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Nath Birchall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Ham United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nath Birchall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albert Hales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnathan Eldridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Nath Birchall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Hales was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mike Reading kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Albert Hales came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by West Ham United's Nath Birchall. But to his dismay, Nath Birchall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half West Ham United were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nath Birchall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Nath Birchall managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Ham United's supporters rose to their feet, but Nath Birchall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Hales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 59 played minutes Kensington FC got a freekick which was hit by Guy Ellis. Nath Birchall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Albert Hales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kensington FC's Mike Reading got a free kick in the 67th minute. Albert Hales was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nath Birchall showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kensington FC's zone, Nath Birchall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Hales came out of the goal and Nath Birchall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Kensington FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Trev Rigg hit a great ball. The corner ended in Felix Dodgson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kensington FC's Albert Hales did a great save. Albert Hales came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by West Ham United's Johnathan Eldridge. But to his dismay, Johnathan Eldridge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 92nd minute, Nath Birchall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Hales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nath Birchall, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Pierce Little kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Felix Dodgson struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Albert Hales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Ham United.
