Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Orsett's Hipolito Porfiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Bow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew Welch to maneuver through the defense. Mitch Canning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glyn Sanderson in the 6th minute of the match. Mitch Canning stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glyn Sanderson's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. When Orsett's Glyn Sanderson in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bow's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Orsett's goal looked a bit too open when Ethan Quinn came free, but Scott Lobb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitch Canning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Porfiro in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Hipolito Porfiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Drew Welch fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bow's protests and gave Drew Welch a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bow getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Drew Welch hit a great ball. If Glyn Sanderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bow's Felix Ferdinand got a free kick in the 29th minute. Mitch Canning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Porfiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bow's Ethan Quinn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Scott Lobb. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. After 37 minutes of play, Orsett's Ty Dickner made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mitch Canning was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Glyn Sanderson in the 41st minute of play forced Bow's goalkeeper Mitch Canning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Bow:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Orsett:s goal. Mitch Canning went to the wrong direction when Phil Alsford was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. During the 47th minute of the match Jerry Newlyn completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jerry Newlyn a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bow fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Orsett a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Phil Alsford, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bow's Mitch Canning. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Bow to make the kick off. Orsett's Radomir Bykowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Richard McCartney in the 55 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Bow's zone, Glyn Sanderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitch Canning came out of the goal and Glyn Sanderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radomir Bykowski hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Scott Lobb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Bow in the 60th minute of play. Mitch Canning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipolito Porfiro in the 62nd minute. Glyn Sanderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mitch Canning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Baker kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Romeo Silvester shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Scott Lobb showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Orsett's Scott Lobb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Bow in the 78th minute of play. Hipolito Porfiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Mitch Canning made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Drew Welch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 87 minutes, Hipolito Porfiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orsett's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Porfiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brendon Hartson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Scott Lobb having to make a save. The Bow fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Orsett were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
